Anthony Gunin conducts icon painting offline classes in a several countries.

The schedule of my offline classes in Europe this Autumn (September-October)
I would like to promote conservation of iconography tradition, support of workshops and groups of iconographers, education of new apprentices and cooperation for the purpose of dissemination of knowledge and skills in icon painting. With the aim of better organizing of class this is my conditions.
1. The time of my offline classes.
2. The length of one offline class is 7 full days.
3. The quantity of students is 7-14 persons.
4. The image for every offline class is selected from the number of images provided by me.
5. I provide a detailed list of necessary tools and materials. I don’t provide the materials themselves, so the organizers are completely responsible for this.
6. The possibility to include in the group two of my organizers.
7. The organizers are studying for free.
The cost of seven day offline class per student, the payment for my traveling tickets and accommodation depends on personal agreement and discussed additionally.
Also we want to offer to all students a discount of 30% to all of my video tutorial courses. I’ll be very thankful for your feedback and I’ll be glad to discuss the details of our cooperation and to answer all your questions via email guniniconcourse@gmail.com

List of necessary instruments and materials for the course "Pantokrator" used by Anthony Gunin Iconography.
- The gessoed icon board or other type of basis for icon (gessoed MDF or ampersand). Adviced approximate size - 12.5"x 9.5".
- Pigments: golden ochre, titanium white, lapis lazuli, french vermilion.
- Watercolors: ivory black, alizarin crimson, cobalt blue hue, cadmium yellow.
- Round №: 5, 3, 0, 0/3, 0/18.
- Filbert №: 8, 0.
- Flat oval №: 8.
- Automatic pencil with hard graphite (4H)
- Half round scalpel
- Dropper
- Palette or several small cups for paints
- Conteiner for egg emulsion
- Conteiner (usually glass) for water
- Piece of some soft material under hands
- Egg emulsion medium: egg yolk (1 part), water (2 parts), white vinegar (1.5 parts), several drops of gallipot mastic. I use Mastixfirnis by “Schmincke”. But it is not necessary, you can easily replace it with dammar varnish, which you can purchase in every art store. The adding quantity is the same - about 3-4 drops on 50 ml of emulsion.
- Book of gold leaf loose
- Special prepared suede pad
- Double-edged gilding knife
- Lampenzel
- Cotton discs or pieces
- Chalk
- Lubricant for lampenzel
- Jar with wort (suslo)

1. All teaching materials, line drawings, sketches, demonstration images, and photographs provided by Antoniy Gunin during the Class are objects of his copyright.
2. Copying, distribution, publication, or transfer of the materials to third parties for commercial purposes without the written consent of Antoniy Gunin is prohibited.
3. Photo and video recording of the Class process is permitted only for the personal use of the participants and provided that respectful consideration is shown toward all other participants appearing in the footage.
4. Icons painted by participants as part of the Class are their personal works and may be freely disposed of (used for charitable purposes, exhibitions, sold, gifted, or passed on by inheritance). At the same time, the line drawings, negatives, as well as photographs and images of icons painted by Antoniy Gunin are protected by copyright and may not be used or exploited for commercial purposes without the written consent of the author.
5. When posting photographs or videos from the Class on social media or websites, organizers and participants are required to credit the author, Antoniy Gunin, must not alter or distort the content of the materials, and must show respect toward other participants appearing in the images or footage.
