Icon Painting Online Course «PANTOKRATOR»
Icon of our Lord Jesus Christ "Pantokrator"
In this course you will get a detailed step by step guide on how to create a complex and multi-layered icon.

Beginning with transferring the image to the icon board, correcting and scratching it, proceeding to staged creation of color spots, where the stages are applying ocher, color-tone linings and basic color areas ("roskrysh"),

Then building the figure volume by outlining of the garments ("rospis"), shadowing them ("pritenki"), making the layered highlights ("probela")

And, finally, painting the Holy Face and other Body parts by the applying of color layers in the same way - outlines ("rospis"), shadows ("sankir"), highlights ("vohreniya") with the consequential refining and accenting the Facial features.

When the lineament of the future Image begins to appear and manifest, you will start to see where you strive. During the final lessons you will dive deeper into studying the tiniest details in order to get the desired result at the very end of your studies.
